Rename the file to rom.bin if you are trying to recover a receiver stuck on "LOAD".
Copy the file directly to the root directory of your USB drive (not inside a folder). Plug the USB drive into the receiver’s USB port. Press Menu on your remote. Navigate to Settings or System Upgrade . Select USB Upgrade . Execute the Update
