As Alex listened, the woman vanished, leaving behind a cryptic message: "You must find the exit before the darkness consumes you."
And with that, the screen went black.
The farther Alex explored, the more they realized that this world was somehow connected to their own. They saw glimpses of their friends and family, but they were all distorted, as if trapped in a perpetual state of terror.
