While grandstand seats are paid, curbside viewing along the route (after Highland Ave) is free on a first-come, first-served basis.

It follows a 3.2-mile U-shaped route starting at Hollywood Blvd and Orange Dr, heading east to Vine St, south to Sunset Blvd, and west back to Orange Dr.

The Ovation Hollywood underground complex is a recommended option, though parking is extremely limited due to street closures.
