Aesop was a very clever man. He lived in Ancient Greece many years ago and was well known for his jokes and stories. One day, Aesop was taking a walk and met a traveller. The traveller greeted him and asked:"Kind man, can you tell me how long it will take me to get to the town?"Aesop looked at him and said: "Go!"The traveller was surprised. "I know I must go," he said, "but I should like you to tell me how long it will take me to get there.""Go!" Aesop said again.The traveller thought the man was mad and went on. After he had gone some distance, Aesop shouted after him: "In two hours you will be in the town!"The traveller turned round in astonishment. "Why didn't you tell me that before?" he asked."How could I tell you that before?" Aesop answered. "I didn't know how fast you could walk."
