An investigator is hired to look into a mysterious illusionist known as The Great Hassan . Hassan claims he can teleport people to a supposed paradise at the South Pole using a "glass coffin." However, rumor suggests these coffins lead only to death rather than a new life.
The film is set in a bleak future where Earth has become a massive landfill. People live in filth and squalor, surviving among ruins.
