: After Hárekr frames Jorundr for Freydís’ supposed death, the Jomsborg elders sentence Jorundr to have his right hand removed before being exiled. Freydís eventually returns and challenges Hárekr. Although he overpowers her in single combat, the Jomsvikings, fed up with his cruelty and lies, rise up and stone Hárekr to death.
