During a holiday in Sri Lanka to celebrate his then-wife’s 30th birthday, a white moth followed Rudd’s son, Joaquin, for several hours. Rudd perceived this as the spirit of his wife’s late grandmother, leading to a song and album that emphasize the connection between the physical world and the spiritual realm.
